There is an excellent chance for good friendships between the Sagittarious and Taurua, as the uninhibited, optimistic nature of Sagittarius often proves attractive for the more steady earth sign of Taurus.
Generally fire and earth matches do not results in fireworks, but that doesn’t mean they cannot make a happy match. Taurus can learn to be more flexible and open minded with a partner like Sagittarius, who rarely stays interested in one thing for long. Meanwhile the breezy, optimistic Sagittarian nature can benefit from a partnership with a person who has a more sensible and grounded outlook.
Problems for Taurus and Sagittarius in Relationships
On the down side, both signs can suffer from fundamental differences that exist between their characters. Taurus tends to love the finer things in life, whilst Sagittarius is not the most domestically focused sign in the zodiac. As such the efforts that Taurans go to to make their partners lives more comfortable and luxurious will largely go unnoticed, potentially making them feel unappreciated.
A more serious divide between the two often arises from Taurus's jealousy. Sagittarius is renowned for a lack of fidelity and Taurus for their possessive nature. If this is not consciously and openly dealt with it is likely to create problems in the relationship. The harder Taurus tries to pin Sagittarius under their thumb the more aloof Sagittarius will become. So it is important that Sagittarius be given some freedom to roam. At the same time Sagittarius must make an effort to both understand and reassure their partner's fears.
Maintaining a Successful Relationship Between Taurus and Sagittarius
Whilst Taurus is generally the more conservative sign, happiest in routine and comfort, they will benefit from a Sagittarian partner if they can join in with their fun-loving, adventurous nature. It is important for Taurus not to try and trap their partner here, or restrain their fiery nature.
At the same time, if Sagittarius is not more restrained in their behaviour than they might like to be, their Tauran partner will become jealous and their possessive nature will shine through, causing arguments. As such it is important to be open and express these problems before they escalate. Sagittarius must take perspective voluntarily and compromise with their partner to enjoy nights in. Taurus must appreciate that their partner will need some evenings out to express the more adventurous, outgoing sides of their personality.
A Great Match – Sagittarius and Taurus
There is no match in the zodiac that will not work. Some are more natural than others, and some take more effort or compromise. Taurus and Sagittarius are two signs that have the advantage of making excellent friendships, which, in turn, often makes for the happiest love matches in the long run.
Whilst shallower relationships might fizzle out over time this pairing has a good chance to endure and there is a lot of fun that both signs can share together. They need to remember what made them such good friends in the first place and take each others’ differences into account rather than ignoring them or becoming frustrated by them; but giving each other a few evenings a month to indulge their own tastes is not too much to ask for a happy, long lasting relationship between a Taurus and Sagittarius couple.
